Welcome to the web site of the Town’s Agency of tourism and regional development Marmon, limited rights company, in the town Stara Lubovna. The agency began its existence in April 2006 as a guide of the new tourist attractions which were successfully founded with the support of the EU funds. The title comes from the name of the hill Marmon in vicinity of the castle where in the 16th century red limestone, reminding marble, was mined. The historic square of St. Nicolas revived by the Museum of Lubovna Burgher being opened to the public. On the hill of the castle the Medieval Army camp was built, which as the only one in Slovakia offers mainly during the summer season rich program that will take you back to Medieval Age. The agency is in charge of tourist information center, tourist guide in the church of St. Nicolas, preparation for various cultural events and presentation of the town and its surrounding on tourist fairs.
